Our coffee is strictly premium, made from high-altitude, Arabica beans grown at 3,000 feet or higher, and all of it is 100% shade-grown under a canopy of native trees. This high-altitude, shade-grown process results in a more complex and delicious cup of coffee.

Handpicking the ripest, red cherries is a crucial step in our meticulous process. The coffee is then processed using techniques that ensure the highest quality bean. Our first roaster was trained by Alfred Peet, the founder of Peet's Coffee, from whom we learned the nuances and artistry required to coax the maximum flavor from each unique coffee and blend. Over the past 30 years, we've perfected and refined this technique, marrying experience and state-of-the-art technology to produce not only the very best possible flavor profile from each coffee, but to do so consistently every time.
